*Scoring system: 10 points for a win, 5 points for a tie, 1 point for a shutout, 1 point per goal won by (max. 7 per game).
*Tiebreakers (in order of use): W-L, head-to-head, GF, GA, playoff period/coin flip.
*Any major = EJECTION. Three minors = EJECTION.
*Overtime will not be played in non-playoff games.

ROLLER HOCKEY TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Roller B (4 teams)
Animals, Manz Plumbing, Rink Rat Pharaohs, Venom
Each team plays three round-robin games. Top three teams make the playoffs. First-place team gets bye to final.
Roller C (12 teams)
Division A – Slot Rockets, Stick Twisters, Swamp Donkeys, Windsor Canadians
Division B – Chimney Sweeps, The Boy$, Tigers, Wildfire
Division C – Forge, Greasers, Jello Shots, Yotes
Each team plays three round-robin games. Division winners plus seven wild cards advance to playoffs. Division winners seeded 1-4. Repeat matchups will be avoided in the elimination round.
ROLLER HOCKEY METHOD OF PLAY
*Games consist of two 17-minute running-time periods. Clock stops in game’s final minute if score is within 1 or tied.
*Game ends (MERCY RULE) when one team leads by 8 at halftime or later. NO EXCEPTIONS.
*USA Hockey In-Line rules apply.
*In elimination games, quarterfinals and semifinals, ties broken by shootout. In championship games, overtime will be one 5-minute running-time sudden-death period followed by a shootout. Teams do not switch ends for overtime.
*THERE ARE NO TIME OUTS.
BALL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Rec C (14 teams)
Division A – Outkast, South Hills Invaders, Sylvester’s Cleaning, Team Pitt Snipers
Division B – Bulldogs, Mallards, McKeesport Paladins, Team Pitt Outlaws
Division C – Bill’s Freshmen, Serpents, Steel City Mafia
Division D – Highlanders, Mean Machine, Valhalla
Division winners plus 7 wild cards make the playoffs. Division winners seeded 1-4. Repeat matchups will be avoided in the elimination round.
BALL HOCKEY METHOD OF PLAY
*First period of Friday and Saturday games is running time. Clock also runs when one team takes a 7-goal lead and continues to run until the trailing team gets within 5. On Sunday, first period of elimination games is running time. In other playoff games, all three periods are stop time.
*Game ends (MERCY RULE) when one team leads by 8 at the end of 2 periods or later. NO EXCEPTIONS.
*During running time, minor penalties are 90 seconds, major penalties 4 minutes. THE CLOCK DOES NOT STOP DURING PENALTIES. Penalty begins when ball is dropped. During stop time, minors are 1 minute, majors 2½ minutes.
*The nets above the glass are IN PLAY.
*FLOATING BLUE LINE WILL BE USED.
*Signaling for a pass with a high stick is a penalty only if it endangers an opponent.
*You may clutch the ball with your hand, but must immediately set it down.
*Hand passes are allowed in the defensive zone.
*Face-offs after penalties are deep in the offending team’s end.
*All face-offs are at the nearest dot.
*American Street Hockey Institute rules apply.
*In elimination games, tie is broken by shootout. In quarterfinal and semifinal games, overtime is one 5-minute running-time sudden-death period followed by a shootout. In championship games, overtime is one 10-minute running-time sudden-death period followed by a shootout. Teams do not switch ends for overtime.
